    I recently purchased a full wheel and tire setup from Matt (@Discount Tire Direct ) at Discount Tire Direct and wanted to post up a review with my experience.

    I purchased a set of 5 16x8 Method 305 NV wheels with 285/75/16 BFG AT KO2's. I opted to purchase these during the Memorial Day sale (May 25-26th) to help save some on the complete setup. I was out of town during the sale and needed to delay shipping until the following week and Matt honored the sale pricing. Shortly after the order was placed, I received shipping confirmation and the wheels were delivered 2 days later. Everything arrived perfectly and I was extremely pleased.

    Long part of the story:

    I opted for new TPMS' as well for the wheels and this was where I ran into some issues. As some of us know, Toyota TPMS modules can be picky but I was assured that these were the correct sensors and I could take the truck to a local Discount Tire to have them programmed at no charge. I visited my local Discount Tire 3 separate times on 3 separate days and met with 4 different individuals (one of them being the store manager) yet they were still unable to get the sensors programmed. The manager told me I would have to visit the dealership and have them code the sensors as the ones in the wheels were difficult for the locations to program.

    I called DTD and they apologized and told me they would incur whatever cost the dealer charged to program the sensors. Went to the dealership and they too were unable to program the sensors. I called DTD again and voiced my disappointment in my experience and the large waste of my time. I travel for work and didn't have time to waste bouncing around locations to get my sensors programmed. Finally they called another Discount Tire location near me and spoke with the manager to fill him in on my situation. Once more they assured me this location could program the sensors.

    Went to this location and spoke to the manager who quickly got my truck in and prepared to replace the sensors with new TPMS' at no cost to me. Once they did, they examined one of the sensors and realized that they had not been properly 'woken up' as they are shipped from DTD in a dormant state so as not to decrease battery life. After this, they quickly programmed all of the sensors and I was on my way.

    This showed very poorly on the first Discount Tire location I went to and wasted so much of my time. I spoke with Matt on the phone and he apologized and provided me with a partial refund for my time and to help rectify the situation. What impressed me most about this entire experience was the way that Matt and the DTD team handled my concerns and remained readily available and ready to help during the entire process. I'm told the shortcomings of the first Discount Tire location I visited will be addressed accordingly to ensure it doesn't happen to others.

    I will continue to give DTD my business as not only did they provide me with a good deal on tires and wheels, they showed value in their support during my issues with the TPMS'. I would certainly recommend Discount Tire Direct to anyone looking for tires/wheels/etc

    Second, your truck looks phenomenal - I absolutely love the color combo and the stance is perfect!

    Lastly, thank you again for all your patience with us. Having to make multiple trips back and forth like you did to resolve what turned out to be an easy fix is frustrating and shouldn't have happened. I appreciate that you took the time to share your feedback with us as it important to our organization in order for us to better serve our customers.
