I’m curious as to what they’d go for on the market. Could probably be close to the price for the Depos

Actually they bring pretty good money. Lots of people wanting a set to BHLM & keep or make money.

Speaking of lights has anyone seen a bedrail light kit? Got a tonneau & bed mat this week. Need lights on the ass end now!

Sold my Sports for $375 and I am interested in buying the DEPO harnesses that people do not need

Pretty easy to move them? I’m torn between buying these and selling my TRD stocks or paying $300 plus my lights for a set of BHLM TRDs. I prefer the full BHLM set but these would be fine and it seems cheaper

I just posted this in another thread but I have a couple more things that need to be added here. I have a SR5 so I had to use the supplied resistor module for the LED lights. Everything worked just like the videos showed but I have a minor problem. When I turn the stalk to DRL the LED lights do not come on. They do come on if I switch it to the next two positions parking lights, fog lights and, or headlights. The wiring video for the SR5 stated that the 2 white connectors could go to either white connection on the headlight assembly. Could this be wrong? That is the only thing that I can think of. Maybe someone else has a different suggestion. The following is a copy of what I posted in the other thread.

Installed the faux pro headlights and the real pro fog lights today. When I special ordered the SR5 from the factory a couple years ago the only option I wanted but could not get was the TRD headlights with the LED strips. Now I have them with the BHLM added in for extra measure. They included a resistor module which made it a true plug and play with no wires cut or spliced. I know that I still have the SR5 grill but I am in a very small minority that still likes it better than the Pro grill although it is a close second choice for me. A couple months ago I almost bought the Baja Designs amber fog lights but came across a post from @crashnburn80 which forced me to do a lot more research on it. I know that the Rigid fogs are a little more than the BD fogs but at least they are street legal. I am somewhat familiar with Mr. Murphey and his irritating law. If I got into an accident and the other driver blamed my BD fogs for blinding him I can see the following scenario.

Judge: Are your fog lights street legal?

Me: Baja Designs says that they are street friendly.

Judge: But are they street legal?

    Me: No your honor.

    Judge: Case closed.

I have a Sport so had to cut and splice and my leds work just like the oem did. Regarding the bd fogs I have no need to use them daily. When I do run them I never get flashed. You just have to aim them downward. The first install they were blinding so I quickly adjusted them. No desire to do that to people. Do unto others blah blah blah.

Good choice for street use. It isn't so much about street legality though as it is having a cut off. Baja pods have no cut off, Rigid SAE fog pods have a nice flat cut off directing all light down toward the ground. Not only does this illuminate the ground better, it does not blind others and it does not reflect light back at you in fog, as that would defeat the primary purpose of the fog light. Note the aftermarket Rigid fogs are brighter than the OEM Rigid fogs, but those OEM runs run really hot which will prevent any icing in cold weather.

Not getting flashed is not a good measure of light glare/safety. Baja wide cornering will light up the 3rd story of my house from 25' while the Rigids will keep the beam 2' off the ground with such a sharp cut off you can't even see the roofline of the 1st story. People that say 'aim them down' do not understand the beam pattern, you'd need to aim these so far down they would be useless in order to prevent glare. This is why choosing the correct beam pattern is so important, and so often misunderstood. Unfortunately vendors that do not offer a fog beam pattern often push alternatives, which are in no way a replacement for streetable fog lights. Not having the sharp cut off also negates the primary use of a fog light, rendering it ineffective in fog.

This is what a fog beam pattern looks like. Rigid left, Baja right. They put out nearly equal amounts of light, but the Rigids concentrate it all into the fog area with tight beam control, which has sharp cut offs to not blind anyone while providing much brighter illumination of the fog area. Baja spreads the light everywhere (that is what wide-cornering does) so not only is there less light in the fog area, it is extremely blinding to oncoming traffic and will blind the driver in fog. The Baja light is blinding from the 3rd story of my house, no amount of 'aiming down' will fix the issue and provide useful light down road on the roadway, which is why selecting the appropriate beam pattern for the desired job is so important.

Baja wide cornering provides outstanding wide angle near field illumination for awareness on the trail, forest service roads or other situations where you want wide area close illumination with no traffic ahead of you. Their pods are outstanding quality, and having run many different pod brands, I'd say their designs and engineering quality is by far my favorite. Many people just misunderstand their application.

As far as the LEDs not working goes I had the same thing happen until I plugged the TSS back in which meant putting the grill/surround back up there. The truck wasn't happy until I plugged that in! I just wanted to check to make sure everything was working before i put everything back together

I do enjoy being able to go to the beach year round, with free access :) I was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to Huntington Beach for a few years. I was like :quickdraw: when told we need to pay parking to go to the beach. After returning to Hawaii I take full advantage of the beaches... surf, kayak, fish or just walking. Paying higher shipping for living in the middle of the Pacific is not so bad

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. These 3rd gen engines are loud.
