    Replaced my throwout bearing, carrier bearing, and bled my brakes today. Now its mechanically ready for Toyota Fest in a couple weeks.

    No problem man!

    And yeah I had to pull the trans. It went a lot smoother than I expected. I didnt have to fully drop it out of the truck I pulled it back far enough to swap out the bearing then slid it back in.

    Also forgot to mention I took the truck to Toyota Fest this passed Saturday. Had a great time, left with some different opinions about what gets noticed at these types of shows, but overall it was a cool experience.

    Got my rear shocks in! They're a direct bolt on once you remove the metal sleeves from the bushings.

    @mjbtaco Did I miss it? What's the part number for the shocks? You're dropped like 5/6 or more right? Do you think they'd work for a 3" drop?

    I came across your truck a long time ago on youtube (big brake vid!) and your truck is actually what inspired me to keep my wifes Tacoma that she bought new in 99 instead of selling it and to start having some fun with it. Thank you!

    If you could get a measurement of your shock at ride height I could tell you if they would work for you. Center of the eyelet center of the other

    Right now it's stock height - I haven't lowered it yet. I have some maintenance to take care of first before I can get to the fun stuff!
