I hope I don’t have to replace the door glass at any point, but if I do for some reason I will ask the people doing the repair and before I take the vehicle there will cut out the baffles. And then I’ll go back and cover them again. I have a spare Noico sheet left over.
Yeah I would say you don’t have to put the plastic and felt pad back, but it was easy enough. ; )
In my previous post on doing this, my OCD attacked me and made me do it!

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    Thanks...

One of these days, I'm going to put one of these on the spare:

    air_hose.png

That blank area on the rear bumper to the right of the license plate is just begging to have a hole drilled in it. Stick the valve part through from behind, and run a nut down on it to hold it in place. Quick way to check the spare's pressure.

What did I do to my Taco?
I have to keep my Taco outside.
I got her some added home protection.

My experience with home alarms is they are LOW priority with the LEO...understandably. The two times my home alarm has gone off by accident, both times LEO showed up 40+ mins later. Most burglaries/break-ins, don't last more than 5 mins. since the bad characters know they have at least that much time.
On one hand, no one home, not worried, it’s what insurance is for.
If at home or at night, I just need a few seconds warning, lock n loaded.

So, Ring Camera to the rescue.
The system's video quality is on par with GoPro cameras. This is cheaper if purchased at Costco plus you get the first year of Cloud service free. After that it's $30 per year for Cloud recording etc. No other fees.
You only possibly need one in front of house. It has motion detection, super bright LED's turn on, HD video immediately sends you a alert and starts recording....has both a siren and two way speaker for your voice, so you can even speak at the person, loud too! There is also a wireless speaker that comes with this kit so you can put it in the house and you can even hook up to Alexa.
Now you can act like your alarm monitoring company and make the call to the LEO yourself (if needed)...and a neighbor if needed. You can add multiple users who will have access to the video and alarm but not the settings. They can do their own settings on their devices.

    Watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpx6eO4cG-Q

I also just got the Video Doorbell 2, from the same company: https://shop.ring.com/collections/video-doorbells/products/video-doorbell-2?variant=56549602635
    Video:

Ring camera with LED's floods and speaker: https://shop.ring.com/collections/security-cams/products/floodlight-cam?variant=56549563083

I got rid of my $40 a month monitoring, worthless alarm system.
I like, if needed, I can talk to maybe a bad guy via the two way speaker on both the Ring camera or video door bell, let him know Uncle Walther (Walther PPQ 9mm) is at home and is always in a bad mood.... ; )

A few screen shots off my iPad, night vision then when movement is sensed it turns on the two bright LED spot lights:

You mean flip the tire valve stem down? Still means scooting under there to check the pressure.

Another alternative is the YI camera. No subscription fee. You can put a 32gb card and review back a week or so on HD and twice as long on standard def. You can also put them anywhere you have power. I started with one, now i have 4 lol.

It's super easy. I checked mine on my 05 3 or 4 times a year. Just toss a towel down to lay on, hook it up and check.

Only hard wired the spot light.
I have concrete brick. Was a major beech to drill thru.
Ran a hot wire to my attic light bulb. Easy.

The video doorbell, can be hard wired or battery.
I vied for the battery one, ordered a second battery too.
Used 2 screws to mount with some 3M tape to really stick it on the wood.

Easiest thing would be if they still put a pressure sensor in the spare and if that fifth pressure showed up somewhere on the screen.

Not much work on the truck, but I got a sweet ass accessory for it. There’s guys runnin’ “light bars with no lockers”, and winch bumpers with no winch, it looks like I’m the guy with a winch with nowhere to mount it. Pulled the trigger on a Warn Zeon 10k, going on a theory that if I get into some shit the truck can’t handle, I now have a winch more than capable of doing the job. Going over multiple options, I went with the US made Warn Zeon over the VR and other models choosing quality, reliability, and serviceability over price. Lifetime warranty, sign me up.
