Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
Counter top edging finished. Had to get creative on the end because the welting wasnt long enough to wrap down and around.

Put the engine back in the frame to get the exhaust finished tomorrow. Also in the frame pic, I have two pieces of aluminum tubing that will get plugs welded in and filled with sand for bending into a shower rod. Doing two so I have a spare if I **** up the first one or I want to make the jig smaller. Cost me $21 for 22 feet of 1 inch diameter aluminum tubing.

    Pipes bent.

Have to find a different sandblaster. The one I usually use had a fire and is closed.

Got it to shape on the first try after reshaping my jig. After the pic, I cut it to final length and did an initial polish to clean it up. Next week, I will figure out the brackets. Thinking one on each end and either one or two in between.
Local exhaust shops could only bend down to 1 1/2".

Jigsaw. They arent perfectly straight, I went back with a rasp to even out the high spots.

What is weird is that the sink doesnt look straight in that picture. Looking from the front, the front edge looks straight with the counter edge (and measures exactly the same) and the back looks crooked (due to the variations in the wall).
I had to do some bodywork on the stove. Apparently, it was dropped (or something dropped on the corner) prior to packaging that caused one corner to roll down. I was able to straighten it out and get the correct curve back in it using a body hammer and a couple pieces of wood.

Frame is at the sandblaster, so back to working on the Airstream.

Skinned the fridge counter, and back of the fridge cabinet/entertainment center. Plugs wired, TV installed.
AC got ordered today and should be here next week. Went with a Whynter ARC14-S. Wanted to get the SH, but couldnt find one at any of the authorized dealers. So, no heat pump.

Added 1/8" plywood to the doors with the windows to get the correct thickness. Also sealed the aluminum skin to the door frames and windows to the skin with sealant.

Picked up the frame from the sandblaster last night.
Got as much of the sand and dust out of it as I could. Will start painting it tonight.

Raining, so worked on the Airstream instead of flipping the frame to finish painting.
Added LED lights under the counter. A little bit brighter than I was expecting.

Those are vents for the heater. 3 along the bottom of the cabinet, 1 in the bathroom. They can be closed and aimed to offer a little bit of zone control.

First coat of paint on the exterior of the frame. After the second coat gets done and cured, I will set it up outside to paint the interior. Then reassembly...

Working on 3rd coat of paint. Had to put it in the garage to be able to move around to get some spots.
    20180611_180411.jpg
I cut and fitted some trim that was then polished and installed on the fridge cabinet.

Building the battery box and breaker panel in the Airstream. Waiting for paint to dry.
    20180613_211302.jpg
So, I played with the frame a bit... Picking up the control arms from sandblaster tomorrow. Then they will get painted and rebuilt. Then stuff starts going back together. 3 coats of frame paint to top and bottom. Unpainted spots will get roll cage components welded at that location. Have to mock up cage and sandblast paint off at a couple locations for other tubes.

Had a busy day today. Breaker panel and solar control panel (not in picture but it is above the breakers on the top panel now) built and wired in the Airstream.
    20180614_085755.jpg
Took one wall panel off the new trailer to measure for where a window is going. Ended up with all walls pulled off because I didnt like the BS I found.
No sealant on the seams (can see daylight). Front corners unsealed (can see the ground). Figured out why my fenders flap, only screwed into a single piece of aluminum skin on half the screws. Including some that pulled out and can see daylight. Mind you, these screws are inside the fenders where all that nice road spray occurs.
Im glad my build quality is a bit better. Floor is coming out, and it will all get fixed.
