I’m thinking of getting that double ball attachment you have, any problems with vibration? Seems yours is really out of the way

I get very minimal shake. I haven't tested offroad yet though. The rubber on the 1" balls seem to absorb a get amount if you have everything tight.

Are those speakers mounted on the main pillar? Use those for CB or for more Audio?

I installed mine a few weeks ago and have been playing around with it trying to find the right spot for me. Anywhere i put it I don't like how close to the steering wheel it is I'd like it to be further towards the windshield and out of the way of my hands while driving.
I've tried a solid short arm and a solid medium arm (1 in. And 2 in. Respectively) and I've tried the ball mount on the top handle screw and the bottom and I just can't stand it
I have a galaxy s9 plus so I'm not gonna have any problem seeing anything on the phone

    Thanks for any suggestions

One is for CB one to HAM. They're not powered though, so they aren't that loud. But work decent and are compact.

First off, thanks to the OP and rest for an awesome mod. I used a 60mm bolt with a 1/2" spacer and the double socket swivel arm, worked for my S9+. Lots of room between Cell and the Wheel.

How did you cut your trim piece so good?

I absolutely butchered my first one!

Carefully lol. I saw what everyone else did on this thread, which looked like they went at it perpendicular to the piece, so I spent a while with the drill trying to get the angle correct for how the bolt would be aligned and enters it at an angle. Then cleaned it up with a razor blade.

Anyone know if this Ram mount will work on a 2017 Tacoma? I want to do this but I don't want to spend the money if it's not going to work.
