Turned seatbelt chime off---

I read through every post in this thread and could not find confirmation that the seatbelt chime (and or the door chime) could be turned off with Carista on a third gen with a push button start. Has anyone successfully done this?

Edit: I downloaded Carista and checked it out. It appears that you can turn off the seatbelt chime with Carista but not the door open chime unless I have missed it. That being said the Carista website said that customizations can't be performed on the third gen Tacoma with the app. So I still don't know for sure.

 

Follow up: I went ahead and bought the one week pass and contrary to the information on the Carista website, it works just fine to change settings and customization's on the third gen Tacoma.

 

I just bought a Carista too! No more seatbelt chime! I may tie the front door sensor wire into the rear one so the computer thinks I open the rear door instead. This door activates lights etc, but it doesn’t yell at you.

So 5 pages and still no cure for the seatbelt chime, besides hacking or apps?

Dealership can do it. They will tell you they can't but they can. I just told them I refused to pick up the truck until they did it. Which they then promptly did.

Unique speed limit numbers are done because people are supposed to take better notice of it due to the novelty. If it was 10 or 15 you would drive by it without a lot of thought. But 13 makes you go; What?
