Rock scraped past the skid plate and hit and dented this flange (just a couple inches behind the end of the skid plate on the left side). Is this serious and would you get it replaced if it was your vehicle? Looks like it's responsible for keeping the wheel aligned through its suspension movements. The joint seems to rotate okay when I press down on the hood but I don't know the implications of not repairing it long term. Advice? Thanks guys!

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Maybe a bit broader shot to give us some context. If it is the part I think it is I suspect it will need some attention. You also might want to invest in some none factory armor also.

From the looks of the pic, it appears that the alignment cam is also bent. Id say repair it and gusset it with some total chaos alignment cam tabs

Edit: what i was seeing that looked bent was the washer for the alignment cam. Shouldnt have to replace the whole cam, just that inner washer and then get everything else straightened out

I'd remove the lower control arm, hammer it back straight, and call it a day as long as your alignment tabs aren't bent.

    These are your alignment tabs

It also looks like the bushing washer may be bent so good to replace that as well so you don't prematurely wear the bushing.

Thanks so much for the replies guys, here are some better angles. Looks like the alignment tabs are fine, but it's pretty mangled. Looking to get some sort of general consensus... :) how much would you expect this would cost to repair including parts?

Yeah cams and cam tabs look fine, but the frame needs to be bent back, and the washer on the inside of the frame looks damaged.

RCI makes plates for lower control arms which protect exactly where you were damaged.

Yeah just lookup LCA skids. I have a set from BAMF. Throw on an aftermarket front skid also. For that I have a Relentless Fab one.

I recommend @Mobtown Offroad Their main skid plate (IFS skid) flares out at the front and likely would have prevented that.

You can kinda see here what I mean. It would take a pretty specifically placed rock to hit that spot you did.

Hammer it back or leave it as is. Make sure that bolt is properly torqued. Should be fine either way.

    Not enough to list
I'd take a flat head or crowbar and bend it back. Once bent back, hit it with some Krylon rust prevention black paint and walk away...
