@j_sav115 What Adam said!!! Right now my coolant temp is around 195-200 and trans temps are around the same with stock stuff. If I'm blasting the A/C trans temp is around 5* more due to heat soak from the condenser. There is a post or thread on here somewhere and it gives a break down of service life of transmission fluid at certain temps. The key is you don't want to be seeing huge spikes and sustained high temps.

PSA- everyone that is uber concerned with cooked trans fluid cooked engine oil is just as bad. So if you start seeing rising trans and coolant temps engine oil temp is doing the same thing. We just don't have the ability to see that.

Going to hate not seeing this rig out on the trails. Try advertising it on the Overland Bound forum maybe one of those guys will want it maybe. Hope it all works out for ya know you've been talking about the fuel cost thing for a while now.

Half cut off you need to shrink some of your sig down It took me a while to get it set right since there isn't any clear definitions as to size on the sig part.

Taking a page from @scottalot playbook and putting stone down. These river rocks look pretty good there.

Anyone ever remodeled a bathroom? I'm pretty handy but never tackled a project like this...but will involve installing a shower pan

Am I making a mistake doing it myself ? Should I pony up what the contractors want? I've had 2 estimates already and both were over $15k

Do you have a second bathroom? I've done it once.. not sure I'd do it again... But I only had one bathroom so when you have the water off... It's off there is sink bath or going to the kitchen to wash your hair.. unless once you take it all out that you can it so you can use.rest of the water

My trans temps are a bit lower than that usually, but that's because the tranny cooler I installed.

I do have another shower and toilet available while the project is being done

I’m sure it would involve a prefabbed pan...but will be removing old shower and jetted tub and replacing with a new larger shower...and new vanity and new flooring...will also have to remove a tiled knee wall
