have any of you had the P0101 code come up after cleaning the MAF and throttle body?

yeah, gotta be something with a seal somewhere.
maybe MAF is bad or not seated fully or O-ring at throttle body is too thin.

Just did mine at 30k since I had the intake off anyway to change spark plugs. Mine was surprisingly clean but figured I would since I was in there. Hardly any buildup - a pleasant surprise. Next time I may wait 40-50 k miles.

yeah, I have the Ram Air Volant system and i installed a Donaldson power core filter and do not get code anymore....but mileage is so bad right now.

ordered and installed one of the new plug and play URD MAF calibrators for my setup but it caused even more codes. so now i am waiting (over a week now) for @Gadget to get it back to me with a 2nd shot at the mapping for my intake

well, after getting the 2nd "tune" back from URD.
    i get the same code P0101 plus a p0174.

emailed URD back and pretty much got a "program it yourself" or "buy a diff intake"....:censored:.
replied that that was not an option and that i used to have the original MAF calibrator years ago that produced no codes and all i have now is a different filter on the same Volant system.

pro-5 filter was my original filter
purchased Donaldson powercore = p0101 and p0174 reply from URD "it is not the filter"
so, installed my old pro-5 filter and half a tank later (170 miles) and not a single code....seems like the filter to me:annoyed:.

done with it...chalking up powercore as a bad purchase. at this point, i don't even want to send the unit back to URD.

So I just did both today bc why not. Truck has 41k. My throttle body looked as good if not better than this one. I decided why not scrub it with a toothbrush anyway. Holy crap I couldn’t believe the black gunk that I took off! Black gunk dripped a little and toothbrush turned totally black. Glad I did it and will prob do it at 15k intervals since it’s so fast and easy (and cheap) great thread OP

I did notice that truck immediately shut off after starting it back up, but then has been running fine. I think that has to do with disconnecting the battery. Same thing happened when I changed the spark plugs.
