Don’t lie to yourself, you know what went on in there.... I bet it’s all over that steering wheel that your going to be rubbing your hands on, and then touching your face or food with....congrats on being part of a threesome at that point, although you were late it counts.

What did you bid versus what do you think they’re worth mid $800s doesn’t seem terrible for something you see as a unicorn and wanted since high school, that seems like a f it I’m doing it no matter what at that point.

I was thinking the same thing. At least go up to a grand. $250 a wheel isn't even bad.

    Child labor.... do it.

I’d volunteer but my rate is too expensive.

@4Running Daily Might be able to score some 80 series rear coils cheap. Anything in particular to look for? Is that an ok option?

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. My thoughts are not to do much to it. But the front OME on my Tacoma would work if I wanted to do at least a lift. Then I could move to 33s. And still not be into it much.

Damn that's low rent, you gotta at least give her a real towel to wipe off when you give her the ol' toaster strudel treatment.

It was happening on Japanese time so I was asleep when this transpired. My bid was in at like 80K JPY. It was gonna come out to way more than that after shipping, getting wheels from Japan to the US is like ~$500 for the set.

Ultimately it came down to the fact that I flinched in the face of trying to shoehorn the style onto a Tacoma. It's more at home on the cars of the era than it ever would be on my truck, cool as it might be to make a throwback.

And when it comes to the 3rd gen, there are more easily obtainable options that still hit the same styling cue of rally heritage, like Evo Corse:
