    Hello Guys,

I have a new to me 2018 3rd gen 3.5L v6. I've read the Bible which is great. Love the truck and this weekend is time to break her in with our boat before a 400 mile trip next week to SoCal down Hwy 101. Boat is 3,500 lb on trailer. Should I tow in 4th or 5th gear most of the time? Is there an ideal RPM that you guys like to keep it in? Any advice is appreciated.

    Chris

Honestly, I'd shift to D when up to speed. I hit ECT Power when accelerating, and it works fine. I monitored transmission temperatures towing my 2400lb a-frame and only a couple times for a few moments did it go anywhere over 200.
