Thanks everyone... the having passengers thing is a new experience for me. Should probably be making a day trip to at least do half day Sunday morning for the takeover next month.

Start with a day trip, unless you've already had them out camping. It's a very exhautiexhday for little ones.

Another note, on the trail make sure the car seat is set so they can get a good view.

Car seat? I remember Ragnar giving is instructions on how to jack your truck while hanging out the passenger side window!

We were stopped at the time. And I know he was always strapped in when moving.

I’ve taken my 2 year old camping a couple times. It can be exhausting.

Still lurking...hoping to get the truck's issues sorted out in the next few weeks and hopefully 100% back in action for the fall. CEL still plaguing my existence...cats need to be replaced, suspension needs to be replaced...but on the good hand I washed the truck today (first time ever really doing so when it wasn't immediately after a wheeling trip...)

How the hell you guys been?

I missed your overheating issue, but yeah, that could easily cause it... Especially after running through some mud pits :mudding:
