Supercharger might be what I look into next. I’d rather that than a regear

    Both :D

Though the regear is probably better for components. Adds less stress on drivetrain. Especially clutch offroad.

The crawl box allows me to not use the clutch. I just don’t wanna put money into these axles.

Point taken. SAS in your future.

So twins and possibly SC are good options for you. Me I'll stick with IFS all day, and not planning on selling so what the heck with the cost of mods haha

Somewhat in the same boat with you there. The more money I keep dumping into the truck just takes away from my one ton SAS eventually. If I'm going to spend money on the truck I might as well just future proof it for the SAS. Need to buy a daily first before I SAS.

Yeah we are in the same boat for sure, I’d rather not put money in these small axles and just put it towards the solid axle.

Not enough to have a build thread.
I have a jeep that will become my crawler. I'd like to get the taco to long travel one day. Probably just mid travel for now though.

Yep. I might eventually put an 8" diff in the front so I can have a locker in the front, but that a big maybe. A Ford D60 Kingpin and a GM 14 Bolt built to my spec is like $9k so I might as well just start saving.

I considered long travel but the the parts on these trucks just won’t handle a bigger tire like I want to run.

I'll probably stick with 33s if I do wind up going LT. I may just stick with mid and itll be a nice camping rig. The jeep is for.... well the serious fun.

Hey Fernando, Nice rig. Couldn't look at the whole thread just yet. Could you give an update and info on the steering column tac weld? I've never heard of it.
