What type of paint was used on the PRO grille from the factory?
    - color code for the black
    - satin, matte, gloss?
    - was the plastic prepped before or not? like how?
    Thanks.

I'd like to tag on here and ask if any professional painters know the best way to remove surface scratches? Thanks!

The Pro grille is plastic and is molded in that color. No paint. The TOYOTA letters are not even painted... those are inked on during mfg process.

It's just Black ABS plastic beads melted and formed in mold. Saw it on How It's Made.......no paint.

For you or a professional shop? Small or large area?
A shop would just use a machine and compound to get the scratches out. If bad, they would wet sand and buff.

PRO grille and the hood scoop ARE painted.
Remove them and look on the back to see the natural plastic.
Also how do you explain the orange peel on the lower left corner of the PRO grille? Molded like that? If yes, all should have it, right?
