Hey guys new Tacoma owner from Athens, Georgia! I never thought I would be driving a midsize truck... but then I got married - 3 weeks ago. I always knew if I made the switch it would be a Tacoma.

I am a die hard GM guy. I've built multiple solid axle trucks and have had a heck of a good time wheeling the fullsizes. My current GM is for sale and it is my pride and joy. I built it from the ground up and went the full 9 yards with this one. 12 valve Cummins, NV4500, Dana 60s, chromoly shafts, 38 Toyos, locked and so on. The time has come to drive something slightly more professional and a Tacoma was the next best thing. I cut my HP in half and lost 75% of my torque... but I have A/C which is a huge plus living in Georgia!

I bought the truck a few days after we got back from our honeymoon and got a smoking good deal on it. 71xxx, toneau, spotless interior, AMP research steps, tint and 4x4. I ordered 5100s for all 4 corners and an AAL within 48 hrs. Finally found some FJ wheels mounted on brand new Yokohama 265s for a steal. Also ordered the anytime backup camera from a member on here and installed my brake controller. So far I'm loving the new ride. It is a huge transition from what I'm used to but a smart move.

Here's a few pictures of my old setup vs the new one. I had to get rid of my equipment trailer for something a little more Tacoma friendly.

Looking forward to learning more about these trucks and helping out where I can!
