Well guys, never thought I'd buy a 3rd gen rig, but after test driving a manual i was sold. I purchased this yesterday evening and I'm excited for a new build.

    Parts on order:
    5100s (will set at .85)
    Trd pro gloss black wheels
    KO2 tires (265/75/16)
    Trd pro grille
    Trd pro fog lights
    Trd exhaust
    Trd front skid plate
    Tint

I also need to get mud flaps, I'm not sure if I want the oem flaps or not, does anyone have any recommendations?

I'll keep you guys posted! I'll have some stock parts for sale off this one soon, PM me or look at the for sale section soon.

Oh, and Happy fathers day guys!

Welcome. Parts look like a good choice. Maybe not the mudflaps . In my humble opinion.

Nice truck, congrats and G/L with it.

Save money on Pro fogs and get Baja Sport wide angle fogs. Much more light where you need it and they look really cool too.

Stock mud flaps are crap. They are hard plastic. If you hit anything with them your fenders going to get damaged. I have a set brand new never installed. As soon as I got them it was a disappoint. I put on an set of N-fab 3" nerf bars instead. They catch most of the ice and keep it out of the wheel wells.

I'll have to look up those lights! Yeah that's what I'm worried about with the stock mud flaps.. They seem even more stiff than the 2nd gen ones. I may need to find some just generic rubber flaps or something

I think a lot of folks went with Weather tech or something. Definitely something softer. I lifted my truck so needed a step for my wife and so I didn't wear out my seat. The nurf bars do well with all the crap my tires throw up.

Also if you wanna get some Pro stuff... Depo makes front and rear Pro headlights and tails. GREAT quality too. I got my headlights from Unique style racings... there's a coupon. I love my head lights. Looks awesome with the Pro grill. Here's the headlight and the Squadron fogs from Baja:

What's the difference between the pro headlights and tail lights from non pro tacomas?

Keep in mind the Baja lights aren’t officially DOT approved. The Rigid ones are.
