Those are a clear looking protective coating over them for shipping. Almost like Saran wrap. I have not removed them for protection from scratches.

Oh sorry guys for not responding to my thread. For some reason it was not sending me alerts. So to answer your questions. They seem a legit quality as in I would totally run them if they fit my truck. These say they only fit 2012 to 2014 long beds but I thought 2005 to 2015 were all the same and have no truck from those years to test them out. If anybody is local in San Diego I would love to mock them up. They were just released not too long ago from the manufacturer so not much feedback on them. I will try to measure the width on them today to see how they differ from stock. Of course one of the major benefits is not having to scratch up stock ones or even just to replace the faded old ones.

12-15 have different pieces for the bumper but if you are running an aftermarket bumper or just dont care they should work on 05-15

Thanks for the info. Do you know if long bed and shortbed also have different rear fenders?

Yes they do have different rears. Did you ever get a comparison to the factory ones yet?

No the front of it is a little different because of the wheel well being at the front of the bedside. These should fit all DCLB and AC trucks. Meant for the 12-15 but if someone has a 05-11 with aftermarket bumper or doesn't care about the bumper extensions these will work.

    :hattip:

If you could get those measurements on how much wider they are than stock I'd appreciate it.

Ok so here is my research. Now I have a 2017 so my fenders are different. My front and rear fenders stick out about 1.25" and these wider fenders I am selling are close to 2.75" at the widest part down to 1.25" at the narrower part on the rears. First pictures are the rear mine and then the aftermarket.

And here's measurement on the front. Again first my 2017 stock and then the aftermarket. Like I said though these fenders are for 2012 to 2015 access cabs (and someone else said both DCLB and AC trucks).
