For all those people looking to move to Colorado, here's a welcome mat for them. Spread the word. Snow and ice storms all year round

Wish I had one for the Fountain Attack.

    Baseball sized hail.

Could you imagine if that hit in the middle of the day when people were out and about? Holy Sh*t Colorado! C'mon. Can we just go back to the daily afternoon rain showers and serious winter snow-storms? Let's go ahead and take this back to the 90's please.

Can I add less traffic too!

I-70 was a parking lot sun afternoon going east bound from half way up to Eisenhower tunnel till Idaho springs it was stop in go. As much as I hate paying for tolls it was worth it not having to use my brakes every 50 yards.

Broomfield. Got the truck in the garage about 10 mins after it started. First inspection looks good. Need to do another tomorrow in the daylight.

Hoping I got pretty lucky. Lots of jacked up cars in the neighborhood.

I'll be heading through CO this summer on a roadtrip as my lady friend is attending grad school in CA. One of our stops is Ouray, CO. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as campsites in or around Ouray? We will just be passing through so something not too far off the main roads is preferred. We will also be in her vehicle (little hatchback) so it needs to be something that is easily accessible. It doesn't need to be in Ouray but we've heard good things about there. Anything helps

Judas Prius is really banged up, same with the Tacoma.

Pretty sure State Farm won't cover the truck but I'll have to make a claim for the car.

Also some hail went through my bedroom window screen and about 5 feet into my bedroom (I was racing home to shut the window)

The National Forrest and BLM in those areas are closing in that area due to fire danger. Look into KOA or other private camp sites. Be prepared to not be able to get out and explore. You might have a back up plan

We aren't going to be there till the end of August but I'm guessing the effects from the fires will still be there with all the heat. Was trying to stay out of KOA but we might end up there depending on availability of everyone else. Will check out some private sites in the area. Any in particular we should look out for?

I have stayed at Amphitheater several times, but in the last 5 years.

Ampitheater is good, usually hard to get into. Hot Springs is the most crowded, but in town. KOA is N of town, but on the river and spread out.

Another chance of storms and hail today for Denver as well. I'll take that over tornadoes.
