I wouldn't say that. As long as you didn't pay the market rate for a TRD and a fair price, you obviously liked the truck as is when you bought it, who cares its not a TRD.

I extremely doubt you get anywhere with that. You drove the truck, you saw it, signed for it and bought it as is, unless it says somewhere in the paperwork its specifically supposed to be a TRD with certain options, you won't be getting far.

:gossip: they are all trd. There is nothing special about the engine or transmission. Just simple features that can be added to every truck from the sr to the pro.

They make a TRD Sport off road. No locker but 4x4. Rides like a sport with the attributes of an off road truck.

Crawl control, sunroof aren't exactly simply features to add...but yes bare bones same truck and just as capable.

Where’s the yellow settlement sheet from the dealer? If it says TRD off road you got them by the balls!

I'm guessed you didn't buy it brand new from Toyota dealer.

Run the vin number, it should tell you what it is.
If there's no locker or crawl control then it's not an off-road.
Which you would have been charged a lot more extra for.

Could have just been parts they had sitting around left over at the dealer from all the recall and warranties. So they decided to spruce on up in the lot.:notsure:
Did op buy the truck used?

Nope still wrong. No such thing from Factory, you sure you don't have a frankentruck too.
