    Never thought i'd have a build thread on any vehicle but since purchase of my Tacoma, my relationship with it and this community has exploded.

    A huge thank you to the TW community, Texas Toyota Coalition (TTC) and all of those of you who inspired my build.

    A few notable mentions below I must say thank you to for the inspiration:

    @ChadsPride
    @Texoma
    @HeadStrong Off-Road
    @CBI Offroad Fab
    @KB Voodoo

    ....and many more!!!

    The Rig:

    2011 Magnetic Gray SR5 4x4
    Double Cab Short Bed

    Why a Tacoma:

    My dad ordered a 2009 TRD Offroad DCLB and I had the chance to drive it from Arkansas back to Texas. I was sold; I wanted a 4x4 Tacoma. I Purchased my Tacoma in March of 2014 with 69,7xx miles. The initial purpose of having my truck was for camping, hauling my dogs around and work stuff. Since then it has evolved into my Daily Overlanding rig. Every addition I've done has had a sense of purpose behind it from my travels.

    Few days after purchase and having completed a full detail including Glass Coating the Paint with 22PLE (i'm a detal freak at heart):

    THANK YOU!

    I have a couple of shots from when he first got his truck but we need to do an official family photo shoot soon!

    Here is what I have after he put his Tent on. He also re-did all the fabric on the tent himself.

    Yeah man! Converting family members one at a time! Started with me, then my wife ordered a 4Runner TRD Pro and her brother followed suit and found a 2012 TRD! We are currently working on her Dad. He's been looking at 2012 Pre-Runners. :yes:
