    There has been a few people on ttora do it. Here's a link with a write-up. If anything happens to my auto tranny I plan on swapping in a 5 spd.

    Yeap.. this truck was a gift from my Father a few years back,, it was hard to do the swap due lack of parts in Mexico and they are very $$$ here in Mexico

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    A swap could be done, but I highly doubt it was special ordered. Seems unlikely Toyota would alter the production line to custom make one truck and slow down production of several others, no money to be made!
