right on Granite (dirt road)
look for the trailers over by start/finish

I will be heading out from Fontana at 0900 hours.

Meet spot is the McDonalds off Sierra Ave on the I-15 north, 2 exits north of the 15/210 interchange.

153.110 on race radio
ch. 22 on CB radio (CB doesn't have the range of race radio, so can't guarantee to hear ya once we get going if planning to catch up)

 

my friends are racing but i dont think im gonna make it(stupid work) but theres no way in hell im missing the baja 500

 

change of plans for me...

i will be out there filming with a crew and need to get there early that morning...

 

So no Caravan?

 

yah, sorry...

i will be leaving Glendale around 6am and considering race doesnt start until 1pm, i figured nobody would want to get up that early...

also, once we get out there, i will be working, so didnt want to lead anybody out there and leave them at camp...

unless of course, anybody wants to follow me out to pick out a good spot to spectate from...

i will just be coming and going throughout the day and don't want to make anybody feel like im ignoring them or not hangin out, ya know?

but if anybody wants to follow me out early in the morning, let me know so we can make meeting arrangements...

 

Right now for me its still a maybe. Where will camp be at?

near Soggy Lake...

race was awesome. those dudes in the class 11s are literally insane. didnt get any good pictures unfortunately but i found this guy on the way home in the middle of the road. almost ran him over.

hes a 6 month old german shepard mix. chillest dog of all time. no collar or anything so im keepin him. goin in for shots friday . it was my first time out to the races and i am definitely rollin out again.

 

yah, class 9 and class 11 are hard to race...

those rigs will literally kill your internal organs...

 

sure seems like it haha. they all are in good spirits tho. they all honked and gave thumbs up as we waved and cheered them on

 

I'd have to give those 11 cars props. My buddy's uncle races them (1151) average speed in a race is about 25-30 mph.
