Made the mounting plate out of 1/8" aluminum sheet. The MarkVIII fan/shroud combo covers great top to bottom, side to side there was a bit of a gap. So cut out the aluminum to both cover the exposed areas but also provide a mount for both to attach the fan to and to attach the assembly to the radiator. Rivnuts came preinstalled on the radiator (standard factory metric size ~M8x1.25). I added the braces inside the plastic fan shroud to add strength to the mounting tabs. Rivets (3/16" stainless steel) were pretty close to hitting the alumnium radiators fins so I did clearence a bit just to make sure, but all clears.

I just read you're build, I gotta say you killed it!

Question: when you first put the 63's on, what kind of ride height did you get? enough to clear 35s or 36s? I'm looking into them for my DC

    Thanks!

Thats the beauty of the 63s, you can set what height you want. Typically you'll only get roughly 2-3" lift out of them. But there are alot of variables that can change that such as frenching in the mounts, shackle lenght, shackle position, and additional leafs springs added to the pack. (I have 2 additional leafs in the 63 pack).

Thanks for the insight. What was the reason you added the leaves to yours?

    Mini truck front, elocker rear.
    68" wms
    RCVs shafts F+R

It'll be nice to run disks front and rear, and with a better parking brake. Uses the new 4runner config.

Finally got the interior with shift boots and console in. Everything works great, happy with the results.20180928_220925.jpg

And a couple pics of the linkage and new plate I made underneath to make it all work.

Shifters look great. You will like the 4.7 gear set.
How are your rear leafs working out?

4.7s just putting around the block seem awesome.
63s have been working great, big difference compared to my last Alcan pack. Tapped the rear shackle hangers with grease fittings, trimmed the overload leaf, its a very solid setup imo.

Yea definitely not cheap. Any idea if people swap in gear driven cases from the older trucks?

Yup crawlbox is exactly that, old gear driven box with adapters to fit onto the transmission and chain tcase.

Or others just run 2 old gear driven boxes and get rid of the chain tcase.

Finally starting to make progress on the rear FF axle.

    Specs:

    68" wms
    3.5" axle tubes
    3/8" wall
FROR Drotors,Drive Flanges, Alum. Spindle seals
    ARP hub studs
    TG Chromo spindles
    03-16 4runner rear brakes/Parking Brake setup
    86-95 IFS hubs
Upgraded hardware to 12.9 for the axle flanges with backing nut as a second safety factor.
Parking brake cables used independently of caliper vs built in style.

Hubs hit a bit on the p.brake hardware so need to machine them down tomorrow, then measure for stainless flex braided lines and T fitting.
