Been lurking around the site and recently joined back in. So just curious how many of these 4 year run trucks are still left. Bought mine from my friend just this past December. It's a first production run since it's build date was 11/2000.

Here's what she looked like when I picked it up vs what she looks like now.

Setup now includes front QA1 coilovers with 700lb springs, Catfish Customs drop spindles. Out back in running the "s-dad mod" 4x4 leafs, 3" blocks, and vw bug rear air shocks. Wheels are 18x9 (+15) square set of 370z wheels on 225/40 tires. And yes, I left the flares off... I hated the way they looked

Sweet! I think that's the first lifted SR I've ever seen! Did you regear after the big tires? I know the SR's came with pretty high gear ratios

Yea, rear end out of a 2wd 4runner or Pre-runner would land you a nice fit

I like the white. I’m restoring my 5-lug and that color looks great, trying to pick what color I want to paint it. It’s light blue right now.

    What wheels are those?

Honestly, I hate black unless I have a garage to keep it in and given they never came in that color nor do the x-runners, it's a combination I always wanted.

If like to, but I want a reliable way to pop the doors open without poppers. Maybe a hidden cable system. It'll likely be a mod I'll do if I decide to repaint...

I have had damn near all my cars/trucks shaved.

On the popper run another cable that is in the bed under the fender, behind the license plate, whatever for power in case the battery fails. You can use a 9v battery to normally get the solenoid to pop. Sometimes a 12v battery is required. Min pop with 9v. . I've had my civic shaved for 10 years and still haven't had one fail yet.

Worst case I always have a safety cable hooked to the latch on the hood so I can get to the battery. It's a bitch to get too but it's there if I need it.

Yea, it's actually Toyota's new "bright white" so it does pop when it's clean and super sunny out...

Wheels are a square set of 370z rears

Thanks! I wanted one back when I sold my 2004 TRD but finances back then were right and these were still hard to come by at a decent price

Yea, I kinda figure some light engineering can be an easy safe guard. If I'd of had more time to prep before paint of of likely done something similar and shaved it. I did however shave the good squirters, antenna, and rear tailgate latch

I have them set to 12. My current drop is at 6/6 but I keep the rear aired up some to keep the axle off the frame till I notch it
