Picked her up just about a month go, Just cleaned this weekend!

    2017 TRD Sport DCLB

Took a couple pictures, still need to grab some shots of the basic upgrades I’ve done so far.... More to come soon.
I appreciate all the info I’ve found on here and how helpful everyone has been. I will try and stay detailed in case anyone sees something they want to grab for themselves. (and to keep for my reference as the build comes along)

Happy to answer questions if anyone has any along the way( since everyone else has been awesome about answering all of mine)

Real happy with the taco and how easy she is to “work” on so far.

    What I’ve done so far:

    LED headlights
HIKARI LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit -H11 (H8,H9),Philips Lumileds 12000lm 6K Cool White,2 Yr Warranty )

    LED brights
HIKARI LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit -H11(H8,H9),CREE XHP50 9600lm 6K Cool White,2 Yr Warranty

    LED front blinkers
JDM ASTAR 1260 Lumens Extremely Bright PX Chipsets 7440 7441 T20 LED Bulbs ,Amber Yellow

    LED reverse bulbs
iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Super Bright Low Power T15 912 W16W 921 LED Bulbs with Projector replacement for Back Up Reverse Lights, Xenon White

    LED interior (all)
Kit from medlinaround on the forums

Blue Vinyl inserts in door sills, glove box and vinyl black out to the chrome trim.
From mtnrider65 on eBay I know he’s here on the forums as well.

    SOUND:

    • Subaru tweeters
    • Kicker speakers in all the doors
    • Hondo radio knobs (ar15)

    MISC.

    Husky x-act floor mats
in the front, still need to order rears

TRD pro grill (eBay special, spray painted the backing of the T and A to match as they came silver )

    Console organizers

Vehicle OCD (Organized Console Device) - Toyota Tacoma Center Console Organizer (2016-2018) - Made in USA
    And
EDBETOS TACOMA Car Center Console Armrest Box Glove Box Secondary Storage Console Organizer Insert Tray For Toyota Tocoma 2016-2017

I also took off all the badges and stickers.

    Optional factory equipment:

    • Premium and tech package
    • Trifold Tonneau cover
    • Tow package
    • Paint protection film and door edge guard

    OEM accessories:

    • Bed mat
    • Bed extender
    • Bed net
    • Hitch cover
    • Exhaust tip
    • 5” oval tube step in black
    • Door sill protectors
    • wheel locks

    On order:

    • Baja Designs Squadron sport foglights amber WC
    • Me-so customs TRD coin holder and 6 spot switch to replace cubby
    • have black Vinyl insert for the tail i need to install

For just around $210 total , swapping out the literally paper factory speakers made a world
of difference, sounds great now. head unit seems to be handling them just fine ( I do have the premium entune) . WAY louder and crisp. I do think i will take the door panels off again and put some dynamat later on, no issues but i think that will improve the sound even more.

    Future Plans:

    1. Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/70-17 on the TRD PRO/SEMA wheels
    2. SSO Slimline hybrid bumper
    3. headlights/taillights ( probably DEPOT to black out a bit unless new LED tails come out soon)
    4. Probably change the running boards to steps/sliders .
    5. Lift?
    6. Who knows? Suggestions?

** probably leaving the front air dam on until i need clearance, do a new bumper or new skid plates **

Installed the Baja designs fogs today, they look awesome.
Also threw in the @mesojdm coin holder. Finished the look there with the black out vinyl over the chrome trim E8C382CC-0F85-4DB7-9C27-8E662B55C24E.jpg8AB31621-2AED-4F69-A631-726427E272E5.jpg

Bajas are way brighter than stock - no comparison.

20E3EFD8-FA15-43A7-B8D3-7020820D47C0.jpg Installed @mesojdm switch panel and a couple blanks for now , looks/fits great and I’m really happy the 3 stock switches are now centered. Also installed front camera and anytime mod on the reverse camera as well thanks to @Logistics91 ( highly recommend his product and he is amazing with providing support )

CFE33B3F-8909-4FFC-BA07-F9E211696C62.jpg Got a set of the falken at3 265/70/17s , now just debating on a wheel. I’m between Fn fx pros ( not sure on color if anyone has a BBp with them on would love to seem them) or SCS (likely dark bronze) and a slight front lift to level

Did you paint the Door Sill protectors or are those colored that way. Would like to do the same.
