I've done a mod or two
I think he said he has a scholarship that is covering most of it, so it'll just be living costs it sounds like. Hopefully he has time for a job, a job during school is important I think

I went to junkyards and helped friends build cars instead of doing schoolwork. Safe to say none of us are perfect, but I didn't miss a day of work unless I had to

I wanna be an engineer, I don’t think that’ll work.
I put school work first, just not paying for it in the fall.

Now I’m workin to cover it though. Should have the first semester covered be the end of next month I think/ hope.

Weekends, my dude. I’d be going to school half an hour away from where it’s parked.

Ah yeah there is no trade school for that.
I use to want to be a maritime engineer. Wanted to goto UC maritime, but then realized school isn’t for me so i went to trade school for hvac instead.

You're better than me then haha. I would put it off and do it last minute, I think teachers become a bit jaded from the folks who don't try at all so work from someone who tried but rushes seems to fly. I know I could have done better but I graduated with honors so that was enough for me, still needed to build junk buggies and volunteer to keep my sanity.

Oh yeah I got it covered, I’ve had a fund going for about 20 years now. I’m also going to one of the cheaper public schools in California. My friend going for a doctorate will be close to $480k in debt by the time he’s done.

I’m trying to have some fun before I’m getting into my career, and starting a family. I have some money laying around so why the hell not.

I’m doing a BS in Computer Engineering. Thinking of minoring in Systems Architecture or Business.

If that doesn’t work out, I’ll probably go to trade school to be an Electrician.

Probably too early, I know. Most people in my field go to work right after they get out of school, most already have a job waiting for them before they graduate. This summer is really the last free time I have before it starts moving fast.

Next thing I know I’ll be joining @eon_blue on the 65+ year old thread, eating Vanilla pudding and yelling at the kids to get off my damn lawn.

Once I put my lift on my PreRunner, I’ll have the leafs out of that to use. Aren’t the 6-lug leafs completely different from the 5-lug leafs?

My buddy got a 2015 Nissan 370Z Sport Edition as a grad gift. On the way out of an underground parking garage, he clipped the wall and shattered his mirror. He asked me to fix it.

Let’s hope he wants new rims too.

I think any engineering is cooler then just boring old building engineering. If I wanted to work on building i much rather be a architect
