I would love to see some pictures of the interior if at all possible. Love the truck! Amazing find.

Was this on Denver Craiglist with a Alucab shell?

Yessir. Bought it about 10 days ago.

Thanks man! I’ll take some pics later today. Interior has typical worn floor mats, drivers side seat bolster is ripped, etc.
Everything else is surprisingly clean for the age of the truck.

    @TacoFlaco12

Nope, I just bought the truck. That AluCab is a really nice shell but without windows in the sides of it it’s pretty sketchy to drive with it in a reg cab. It makes you blind pretty much from the B pillar all the way to the rear window. Probably will end up just getting a tonneau instead.
Thanks man! That makes sense, it does have your braided lines front and rear. Hope to see ya around town!

My topper didn't have windows when I first found it on craigslist. It's definitely a huge blind spot, but I've found adjusting your side mirrors to see in your blind spots instead of things behind you to be pretty helpful, even now with the windows I'm 95% sure if someone's hiding next to me just from a glance in the side mirror.

Did the alucab have rear glass? I've seen some that are totally solid, dunno how comfortable I'd be in that case. Full time rear view camera maybe? It's in the back of my mind, mostly because I'd love to pick up one of these Go Fast Campers someday - not yet sold on their rear window solution, I think it looks way better with all aluminum panels.

Wow man, nice work on that topper.
I’ve seen those GoFast rigs before too. They look super nice, not sure if I’d ever spring on one though. Pretty spendy for something I’d probably use 3 or 4 times a year.

Thanks! I’m well aware of the mod situation, this thing has a lot of essential stuff on it as it sits, but I’ve got a few G’s worth of stuff on the wish list already...

Sorry this took such a long time dude! Drivers side floor mat and seat bolster are the only two really bad spots on the interior I can find. Even the door panels are cherry!

Well hello neighbor, I’m guessing our trucks might be lost brothers in the same city.:), bought it new in 1997,
    Welcome,
Check out my build thread for some ideas for a single cab v6,
I put the sub behind the seat, it’s tight but works.

I’ve loved this truck since I’ve seen it in person at a Toytec show a few years back. Ironically, I’ve been hanging out with the Juniper Overland guys as of recently. Neat truck brother!

Haven’t posted here in a minute! Old girl got new KO2’s yesterday just in time for snowpocalypse on Thursday. Summers over. :(
As a result I figured she deserved an end of season bath. Turns out 22 year old paint with 9 million scratches can still look pretty darn good.

I’m 16. Just bought my first taco! Got a 2.4 with 97k on it for 3k. Nothing wrong with it. Slapped some 16x8.5 rims on it and boom. She’s pretty. Gonna put a flowmaster 40 on it tomorrow
