Hello fellow 60 peeps! Battalion SI down at Ft. Polk JRTC right now. Mostly fly with the MED because they stay busy and have nowhere near enough 15T's.

KC-130 guy here. T models, airframes. Stopped doing that in '02. Since then I watch people build them. Blackhawk, Globalhawk, C-17, V-22 and a bunch of civilian stuff too.

It's unbelievable, really, how long I was at one base...timing IS everything. (sent PM)

Cannon is and always will be (one of) the worst CONUS bases but the town has more places to eat now. We used to have to drive 88 miles to Lubbock to eat at a Wendy's. I was on travel there a few years back, same barracks that I stayed in back in the early-/mid-80s. AFSOC should have never took that base over...I don't think they considered the over 4,700' altitude and how it limits A/C loading prior to launches. If there were any justice that place would have been BRAC'd years/decades ago.
