New to the group - just curious if anyone is using the prinsu rack on a 4runner and running the gobi ladder with it?
Wanted to make sue the back crossbar wasn't in the way. Looked for some pictures through the forum and other places online, never got the angle I wanted to see.

    Thanks for any help!

One of the good things about the Prinsu rack is that it is entirely modular, if the rear crossbar is in the way you can simply remove it or slide it forward or even drill new holes to move it where you need it. Since the rack is aluminum drilling new holes takes a matter of seconds. I know that is not the exact answer you are looking for but wanted to make sure that you knew those options were available. IE: I re positioned my rear cross bar to hold a chase light bar and it took just a few minutes to drill new holes.

Right on! Have yet to really look at or plan the possibilities with he modular options of the rack, guess I should draw a few ideas out. Thanks for feedback!

Looks great on your 4runner! No problem with the back hatch and ladder hitting when it is opened?

nope. I do have the rear bar pushed forward a little to clear, but just a tad.

Added a few items to the rack.

    Paddle board rack- Thule

Using Warrior Products Hi Lift mount. VERY solid mount and it locks. Fits great using 1/4-20 carriage bolts

Mounted up my TredPro mats using simple carriage bolts (1/4-20 at 2.5"long) and some rubber pads, bought some SS loop nuts off Amazon(like the ones Prinsu sells) so it can be removed easily.

All is secure and solid. Have something somewhere up there rattling like hell on washboard that is driving me crazy! I "think" its the HiLift jack mechanism shaking around, but it "looks" like the rack itself is wobbling L/R thru my sunroof, and that could be the noise. Maybe it cant handle weight? Noise disappears with no hiLift. Don't hear it with 2 paddle boards and the Treds?
    More investigation required!

Here is someone using a Bajarack ladder with a prinsu. Not a gobi, but similar. I was researching the same for my 5th gen and it should work.

haha, I'm famous. :) The Bajarack ladder has been great. Very sturdy and the diagonal ladder does not impede your view. It works well with the Prinsu roof rack.
