gotcha. Id check where you are sitting in terms of up/down travel and try and get it as close in the middle as you can. Really makes a difference.

Do you understand how the alignment shop centers the steering wheel? It is not easy for the truck to do this without worn parts.

There are several steering components that can adjust it on there own because they are worn. External to the steering rack (on either end) are the inner tie rod ends. Outboard of those are the outer tie rod ends. So any one of these 5 pieces can cause the steering wheel to unintentionally change position.

If it seems like the steering wheel is gradually changing position from one day to the next, it may be a worn steering rack internals. But an alignmment shop can diagnose this for you.

 

Those are what I need to cut and weld, those crossmembers are gone I just don’t have a good picture of what’s under them.

 

get a wire wheel and grinder and find out before you start dreaming up welding all that.

 

There are huge holes from the bolts and it warped the metal from the stress

 

Just cut it all out for the c-notch in the frame you'll be needing when you lower it.

 

Just cut the back half off the frame, link it, cut the bottom of the bed out, bend and weld tubing, mount shocks and axles.

Okay: Plan is still I make it nice and shiny and stock and if I have funds and/or time leftover I’ll get into lowering it properly or whatever a street truck entails.

 

I’m pretty sure it’s the AC belt one. Only happens right when I start the truck and the AC is on

 

Ya i think imma haft to go long travel next year save up i just bought the JBA's & fox shocks i love the ride but cant wait to go full long i have a decent mid travel set up but i'll let u know when i sell them if you have an instagram follow me so we can stay in contact @jonny_galabiz
