    I haven’t had a chance to measure the lights yet but see below for the overall dimensions from the Amazon listing. I can try to get the dimensions from bolt to bolt tomorrow.

    That is helpful. They are going to be really close. I almost feel safe assuming they will fit and if they don't may just need a little modification. Probably not needed but if you can get the exact measurement that would be great.

    Thanks for the write up! I installed 6 tonight. Thinking about adding two more (one for each door)

    The new Mictuning harness comes with BLUE Wire and Black wires attached to their switch.

    New wiring is like this when going to a toyota push button I believe

    GREEN = WHITE
    RED 1 = BLUE
    BLACK = BLACK
    RED 2 = GREEN WIRE ON CARGO LAMP SWITCHIMG_7363.jpg IMG_6584.jpg

    Blew a fuse when I used a positap to connect the new switch illumination (RED 2) to the Green wire in the Cargo switch. Not sure what happened. but I replaced the 5A blown fuse labeled PANEL. and tried the exact same thing again, since i bought a 5 pack of fuses. Somehow everything is fine now :cheers:

    Nice! Looks great!

    Looks great!

    Good info RE: the change of their wiring color schemes

    I always recommend disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery before doing anything electrical to avoid unwanted consequences. Having extra fuses on-hand is also helpful :)

    Awesome, thanks for posting. Glad there's other helpful info out there!

    :cheers: Thanks! I really appreciate it!

    Okay I’m know nothing about electrical work at all. But I was wondering you ran you wire to the positive of the cargo lights so it turns on when dash lights are on. Can you not just rub it the the positive of the switch you installed? upload_2018-10-16_13-38-4.jpg

    You can do that but then the switch will only light up when the switch is pressed (both the text and symbol). With how I have it wired, the text lights up when the rest of the interior dash lights come on and then the symbol lights up when the switch is pressed. You can see this at the end of my write-up in the switch section.

    Okay so it’s not the same positive like the after market switch is? Your drawing said positive so I thought it was that switches positive. How did you figure out what wire only illuminates when lights are on?

    Also why didn’t you use 20AWG I’ve seen others use like 16

    Sorry, I didn’t follow. The switch wiring is in the write-up abs below. Red 2 is the one that we are talking about. A lot of people use the green wire from the cargo light which is what I did for all of mine. You could also potentially use an add-a-circuit for an appropriate fuse that comes on with the interior lights.

    I used 18AWG wire for pretty much all of my wiring since it’s what I had on hand. I’m sure anything from 16-20AWG wire is probably fine since this is such low power draw for all of these lights.

    Yeah that makes sense. I thought the green wire going into ch4x4 was the same (not the same exact wire but same purpose) as the green wire going into cargo switch. I want mine to light up when lights are on as well so I’ll do it this way.

    @pwalnut what switch did you get for the one switch option you offered and did you have to alter anything. I’ve seen people had to drimmel not wanting to do that.

    Any of the CH4x4 switches will work perfecting without trimming or modification. You can also look at MicTuning ones as well. I purchased this one for less than $9 with Amazon Prime and it worked perfectly. I had it the OEM blank location which I showed as the one-switch option.

    Hey there. Question: The LED light bar harness I have has WHITE, BLUE and BLACK wires. How would I wire that to the CH4X4 switch that i have with GREEN, RED, RED, BLACK wires?
    Thanks for any replies.

    Hi there, anyone knows if I could tap in on my cargo switch wiring for bed truck lighting? If I can which one I can use? I like it so if I turn on my cargo light it will turn on my cargo bed lighting too. Thanks
