Hi from Nashville. I am a new member and a new Tacoma owner.

My wife sedan died last week and she took over my 2015 Rouge.

I have always wanted a Toyota 4x4 truck and I ended up
picking up a preowned 2009 double cab long bed Tacoma last weekend. It has 4x4 and the TRD sport package from a local Toyota dealer.
The Mileage was high at 200k, however the unique pyrite mica paint is in excellent condition.

I like the ride quality and have already got a lot of positive comments.

I am confused that there is both TRD badging and SR5 badging on the tailgates.


Also should i buy an extended warranty or does that 4.0 have a lot of life left

Man that thing looks clean! Looks like a TRD Sport due to the hood scoop, sticker, and painted mirrors. But all the TRD Sports are actually "SR5s" with the "TRD Sport package" so that's probably why there could be an SR5 badge.

Extended warranty doesn't sound like a bad idea but it depends how the truck has been maintained. If there has been a bunch of work done recently then maybe you're all good and don't need it. That engine should last you well into 300k, no problem.
