OK. I know there are several threads about pizza cutters, but i think i have read every page of all of them and never seen a definitive answer on this.

Anybody running 255/80 or 255/75R17 on a totally stock down to the wheels trd sport? My first choice for tires is going to be trail grapplers in 255/75 so if a 255/80 fits I know they will.

I have seen folks getting away with the 255/85R16 on an off road, but according to the wheel spec thread the OR has a different offset on the wheels.

I really don't want to go trimming on a brand new truck and the only lift i'm currently willing to do would be the 1/4" spacers to net a 1/2" lift on the front.

With that size tire, you may need to remove the mudflaps. You "should" not need to do any trimming; although every truck is different, but that being said you should be good to go. Hopefully others who have run that or a similar size will chime in.

I just ordered a set of Ray 10’s 17x8.5 I want to run a 255/75/17 either Falken M/T or Toyo M/T’s without a lift for now.

The Sport wheel is a half-inch wider but has 5mm more offset than the OR wheel, so it should be putting the tire pretty much in the same spot. My gut says that 255/75 will fit, but you'll almost certainly have to remove your front mudflaps, if you have them.

Will do, hope they are beefy enough, fingers crossed. Not worried about the rim disappointing though, I went with the black, what color did you go with? I ordered the tires on the phone with discount tire and got them shipped for $549

I tried to get brushed copper, that didn’t turn out well. I ended up ordering matte gray.
    What tires did you get?

Not every truck, even the same trim packages will vary from vehicle to vehicle; regardless of manufacturer. Not all trucks are built the same day by the same plant, and there are acceptable variations/tolerances that will keep the vehicle within specs. That is basically what I am saying. For example: I have a 2017 TRD OR DCSB that I purchased in June of 2017. Someone who may have the exact same vehicle may have purchased in August of 2017, but may have been manufactured months apart. Different toolings, equipment wear, etc from the assembly plants can lead to slightly different specs, but all will be within Manufacturer tolerances.

I had a 2012 F150 with the 5.0 and 3.55 gears. I was able to add a 2.5" front level and 3" rear and clear 35's no problem. My co-worker had the exact same truck built at a different time, and put the exact same lift/level kit on that I did and he was rubbing with the same 35" tires; so he had to do some minor trimming where I did not.

I am sure that there are others here on this site that could probably give you a better explanation, but that is the basics. Hope that helps out some.

How do you like these tires so far? This is what I was looking at since they weigh only 38lb each. They seem to be the lightest tire in this tire size so far that I have found.

Pretty good tires all around for being considered an aggressive A/T

Where did you find the 255/75/17's in a C range? When I was tire shopping, I only could find them in the SL range. I ended up with KO2 instead, but wanted the Good Years.
