A buddy and I are planning a trip through Colorado and Utah and trying to get a group together. Looking for recommendations on trails and sites to see! Let me know if you're down to meet up and wheel or camp out and have a couple beers!

if you plan on doing big bear pass, keep in mind that it is a one way only trail. Start is between Ouray and Silverton on Co 550 and drops you out in Telluride Co.

My wife and I are driving from DFW to Utah this October. It will be our first time there so we are excited. Our route will be:

DFW => West Texas => Durango, CO => Canyonlands => Arches => Capitol Reef => Bryce Canyon => Zion => Durango, CO => West Texas => DFW.

Might look into seeing Great Sand Dune NP on your return from Durango to Dallas. Would only tack on about 2hrs to your drive. Definitely worth seeing + amazing contrast to surrounding mountains.

Oh nice. We are planning to return to Durango next summer so we will have to swing by to visit then. I imagine we will be exhausted on our return trip home.
