That's a good plan. Most people don't know but plastic can be welded. So they may do that instead of setting up the mold for it and doing custom extrusion. There is a Mennonite guy here in PA that does it and the prices for custom work are crazy cheap.

Just talked with Plastic-Mart. They don't have anything in the size (height) I'm looking for...

Unfortunately, it costs $2,000 to $3,000 to set up a mold for a custom tank.... I think I'm going to need to look at another company or go custom s/s fabrication. :fingerscrossed:

As long as it holds up to banging around off-road, I wouldn't mind if it is welded... Do you have contact info for the Mennonite guy?

I can also ask Plastic-Mart if they weld plastic...

Here is his info. I'd just search your area for plastic welding too. Shipping would add a significant cost for the size you are looking for.

I've seen large flat bladder bags similar in shape to your notion. You'd need to pump it instead of pressurizing it though.

Just bought a rigid shop vac pump that is designed to pump out a shop vac. Wonder how that would work with another type of container? I think it would work great as long as I could getting the fitting to work

Before I got the Tacoma I had an SUV with not a lot of room in the back so we got a portable RinseKit Soft Sided pressure shower. You can fill from hose and it will pressurize it to hose pressure and then you can also add a pump to add more pressure as you use it and it even has a 12V heater stick to warm up the water as well. Holds 3 gal of water and works very well. We used to rinse off our dog when we're out training in the mucky water so she doesn't stink up the truck. Now that we have the truck, I might have to look into some of these options.

Where do you find those attachments for the track system to hold your shovels, jack, etc....? Sorry new Tacoma owner and still learning where to find all the cool stuff. Thanks.

For the shovel and the axe, I made the attachments myself--I followed a diy thread in here. Let me look for it.

Jack attachment, I winged a bit, mirrored Hi-Lift's design (Loc Rac) so I could fit it under my cover. But to tell you the truth, with the amount of time I spent messing with that, it makes more sense to buy something pre-made (unfortunately it wasn't commercially available, lol).

Edit. BTW, welcome to TacomaWorld!! I should have started with that, lol.

I’m definitely making this before my next trip. Will be really useful after a long day of work in the summer too

You could probably strengthen the pipe by adding some straight couplers with the stops removed so they slip over the tube and space them along the length.

How did you end up mounting the tank?

For this, I bent some 1/8" steel, one side bolted to hi-lift bracket, the other is resting on in bed floor. Tank is mounted to it with quick fist clamps.
But, I scrapped that set up. It was taking way too much space.
I moved the tank to the bed rack
