The door ajar light is always on In my 2007 TRD off-road and I have no idea where to begin to solve the issue. When the key is in the ignition and the door is open you can hear the chime but the dome light doesn't work, close the door and the warning light on the instrument cluster is still on. Anyone got any ideas?

I would check the sensor on the door jamb first. May be bad.

I forgot to mention I have an access cab. the way I understand it there's only one sensor in the door jamb and all it does is make a ground when it's depressed when the door is closed and I've already checked both sensors and they're fine

The Door is a door, not a jar.

3 years later I hope so, or he sold the truck. It can only be one of three things. The BCM, a door switch, or chaffed wiring.
