I'll take your word for it...
Me, circa 1978, baby sitter hired for me and my younger brother and sister, Maurine Garlick was her name if I remember correctly. She brought us some of that moussaka stuff to eat for dinner. I think it was pretty good.
There must have been leftovers because I remember my mother trying to make it for us on several different occasions...
    ...it wasn't good!
    It wasn't the same.
    It really wasn't very edible.
I still have nightmares about that shit to this day!

Looking like rain most of the weekend now and I have a package of boneless short ribs to cook. Think going to end up in the IP.

We have a bunch of new fawns in our neighborhood too and mothers are pretty damn protective. One street over, a guy let his little dog out in the back yard to pee. Momma jumped the neighbors fence and stomped the dog to death. I've seen video of doe's fending off coyotes but hadn't heard of one killing pet dog before.

It only took me a month after moving in to use the new IP/slow cooker. Got some spicy Italian beef in the makings right now. Thought I had beef cubes but I didn’t so trying it with chicken cubes instead.

My buddy's Carolina dog brought a doe into his house, a muley at that. Well, most of it. He was pissed. Lots of cleanup involved. Lol.

Went back to OP to search for baked beans. Going to try that venison baked beans but use beef instead. I don't want to chunk up the deer meat I have left.
