Damn, you've got a really nice truck!

I'd suggest getting a set of Maxtrac spindles and letting them do the lift work.

Then you could get a stock height coilover with no preload for an improved ride.

Interesting. I did want reinforced spindles.

Then you're golden. These are way beefier than stock.

Never heard of a single one being bent.

    :humble:

On topic though, even with the maxtrac spindles providing lift, I'd be worried about the stock coil (I wanna say it's 500lb or 520lb) being able to handle the extra weight up front leading to a squishy ride. I'm genuinely unsure though because I don't know too much about 2wd lifts. When I had a 590lb coil with all my weight up front, my nose dove around constantly over speed bumps and corners and stuff. Plus they give 4" so you may be a little nose high.

Agreed. I'll prob just stick with a coil lift, but I can't decide what to go with and have an install goal of Jun 29th, before my trip. I did the math earlier and I have about 150lbs extra up front now, but still a PreRunner so still under 4wd weights. Need to decide!!!!

If I had to guess I'd say you're around the weight of a stock 4wd, maybe under by 50 lbs. If that is the case, then the 885s should get you 2.5" of lift. That's what I had on my old truck! Looked damn good. Worst case, you're a little short and we throw a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer on top.

Are the OME 90021 shocks worth it? Or just get 5100s?

I'd just get the 5100. The only reason I went with 90000 is because I got it as a package deal here on the marketplace with my 886. I ran 5100/OME on two trucks now, and have recommended it to countless other people and every one of us has been happy with the ride.

I can't speak for second gen but 881s feel amazing on my 1st gen. They're the 600 lb coils. Idk what's available for second gen but I'm assuming they weigh more than the first gen. If you could possible get close to a 600-700 lb coil you might like the ride.

That's too much coil for my setup. Too stiff.

Just get the spindles and be happy! You don't have to use a stock coil.

I'm going to have to buy the harness next month sometime

It only cost me 3 bills. I jumped on it because that's the lowest I've seen one for sale
