I do move it back a notch or two when I'm wearing my loggers, they are a bit big in the footwell for working the clutch.

I haven’t. I put the seat where I wanted it when I test drove it and haven’t needed to move it. Which is why I don’t even care that it didn’t have power seats. Of course I live in the sunny southwest so heavy coats and such aren’t an issue.

well I have been messing with mine daily. I love everything about my truck and the steering wheel isn't in my way I am fine. It is the seats are narrow
I have this issue which I am in mine a lot and I am sore daily. Also even worse on me is the back of my legs by my butt are just real bad sore I think from position the way you sit. Its especially on the driving leg. I absolutely love this truck and I just got in from outside messing and testing different things. I have added spaces to try that multiple times and just went back to stock. If anyone has same problem with the back of the legs and have a fix let me know.

Sounds like you could benefit from some more ergonomic seats. See if you have a Recaro dealer near your home. They make some very adjustable seats. I almost did the same when I had my Jeep.

I may look into that but want to keep trying to find solution without changing seats for sure. If I could just figure out what is causing the back of my legs or thighs to really hurt would be a huge help. Im going to keep trying different things ...

Size plays a part here but flexibility does also. I notice people that are very flexible in the hips have less issues.

I wedge my right leg on the steering wheel sometimes when getting in. A bit of a PITA. I usually drive my 2001 Tacoma. No issues in that one.

I did a lot of reading on TW before buying mine. I was expecting ergonomics to be horrible after what i had read but I felt good during the test drive and the more I drive the more comfortable I feel in it. I've had multiple 4+ hour drives and it is a really comfortable place for me (6'1" and I have the sunroof in mine).

Had a 95 Tacoma. My 2018 dcsb is way more comfortable. I really like the seats Traded a 2015 jku on the taco. JKU was not as comfortable in my option and had to slouch down more to see street lights

    6'6 195 on a good day.

I've probably never been in the driver seat of a vehicle where I felt like I truly fit. That being said, I do like the way the Tacoma seat supports me. I've also had two hip surgeries and still have minor complications so I'm quick to notice an uncomfortable seat. After a couple 3.5 hour drives I have no complaints as of yet.
