Read good things about that one. What budget you got in mind? My pellet research is still fresh from my purchase.

Reviews are hard to decifer, people either say its the best ever or worst ever. Would like to stay under 500 I think. Really just looking for best bang for the buck. Traegers to me look cheaply built, not sure what all the fuss is about those to have that price tag.

Price gets better controllers and thicker steel. But at 500 I wouldn't say no to a pit boss. Was my front runner before I went bat shit crazy on mine
I think you'd really enjoy it. Most reviews I read said it's solid and relatively stable on temps and good consumption rates.
A gift for me  yes please! :D

I don’t know about you hippie folk in Austin, but I’m finding stickers and barbs in my underpoos every night. The field behind my apt. is basically weeds (where I let my dogs roam around in the morning), but I’d hope the land would have mercy on someone who tries to better it.

How the hell do they travel to my sensitivities when I change shoes AND shorts/pants?!

Wait. That’s a cat, not a gangly lab pup. Super bummed on your wife right now.
