Pics on Page 8. I used that and a couple YouTube Videos.

You just use your fingernails to remove the snap ring. I think you can use the video above too, in order to install those spacers. So you won't need the tool at all.
I installed new billies and eibach springs on mine.

Another helpful write up, Chris! When I did mine I struggled to get the coil assembly in or out. You may have to pry down that LCA and move the UCA around to slide that coil into place. We found that lifting the UCA (by hand) up and prying the LCA down (prybar) was the best bet for clearance. As you move the control arms around you should get the clearance needed to easily slide the coils into place.

I had to use this way for the driver side, since the top bolt stripped. I used the no spring compressor method for the passenger side. Video is on youtube.

I'm a bit confused now.... I've been running a 3" spacer with 285 tires for years. Now it's time to replace my struts and shocks all around. I bought Billies 5100's from ORW and they told me I won't need to use the spacer anymore if I set the Billies at 2.5"
Question..... Am I going to loose 1/2" and possible rub if I don't use the spacer?
My plan was to set the Billies at 0" and keep using the 3" spacer. I also don't do any off-road, mostly street and highway driving. Thanks!

If you really wanted to you could use the spacer and set the billies at zero. I suggest spending a lil more money and getting a lift coil and a 1/4" spacer on the drivers side and 1/8" spacer on the passenger side to get a full 3". Or cancel your order put some oem struts on with the spacer.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I already have the struts/shocks and been sitting in my garage for two/three weeks and was planing on install them this weekend.
So you're saying I will not get the same height with just the Billies?
I can install them at zero and add the spacer until I get the lift coils and 1/8" - 1/4" spacers

If you install them at zero with the spacers it should put you at close to 3" however the 5100 is designed to be adjustable and if you wanted just the strut with a spacer you could have gone a cheaper route.Do a pre measure from center of hub to bottom of fender than do a post measure you should be very close.

I don't want the spacers anymore and that's the reason I went with Billies 5100 but I can't go lower than the height I currently have with the spacers because I'll rub unless setting the Billies to the highest 2.5" setting will keep it the same height, then I'll toss the spacers. Should I do a search here to see if anyone is running 5100's at the highest set with 285 tires?

I used to have spacers and because eeeeeeverybody said that they are crap so 2 years or so ago I decided to install billies, remove the spacers and set the billies at their highest point. I didn’t like the ride since day one, but since everything was new I wasn’t going to spend the money to go back. 2 months ago it came the time to replace my tires and I decided to get 285’s. They rub going fast into a driveway and when turning in reverse and mud guards have to go. I want to install the spacers again to see if it helps until I have time to do a CMC but I’ve been so fricking busy that I couldn’t do it yet.
Also please note that an alignment may help. No idea how much caster I have.

It's all fun until the lower shock bolt "welds" itself to the bushing sleeve
