Man was it March when I updated this thread last... Been a very crazy few months and they truck has been doing more sitting than anything. But it's starting to get somewhere now!

Got the bed cage started. Everything was drawn in Solidworks and then cut on our CNC tube notcher. Rear cycles 17" of travel, that is all the leafs would allow. Been messing with rear shock mounts and cycling to get the bypass in the perfect position so the shock is used 100% in the travel movement. A lot of the time I see shocks that don't bottom out all the way with the suspension or don't top out at the same time either. What is the point of a position sensitive shock if it's not used completely. Takes a lot of time to get everything perfect but will be worth it. I also mounted the rear glass and thats ready for linex and paint. Time to get the rest of this done!

Also wanted to post some news and stuff that has been going on around the shop. For those who know, I used to have a company called Apex Fabworks. I did this company while still also serving in Active Duty. I got out of the Air Force last May after 10 years. I put the company on hold while I transitioned out. It takes a lot to start life over again in your mid 30's with two kids and a wife. Luckily for me I have always had a great relationship with @CaliRaisedLed and we formed a partnership. About 9 months ago they wanted to bring all their fabricated products in house. So after lots of planning and negotiation we struck a deal where Apex Fabworks is now part of Cali Raised LED, and I run Apex Fabworks which does all the fabricated products for Cali Raised and others. It has been a fun and exciting experience. We have been designing and manufacturing all of the products in partnership with Cali Raised for the last 6 months and after a lot of work we are now re-launching Apex Fabworks and promoting our company and fabricated products again. Please check out our website if you would like to order any of our great stuff and hit me up if you have any questions about builds or custom work. We do much more than just metal products!
