    The bottom half of my gas pedal was cut off back in 2009-2010 as a result of Toyota's "unintended acceleration" recall. I already have a billet gear selector, and I've been tossing this idea around for about year.

    Does anybody have any recommendations for billet pedals that are easy to install and of good quality?

    My Ellis Precision gearshift knob, which I'd like the pedals to match...

    They tried calling my dad to get his formal approval, but they couldn't reach him so they just cut it off...

    I remember being quite pissed about it!

    It was a recall, some pedals were getting caught on the floor mats.

    The funny thing is that I have Weathertechs now...

    Pretty sure we chucked the OEM floor mats years ago!

    In less than a year, I've given my truck a complete WeatherTech deflector package and a complete stereo system overhaul!

    As of right now, my plans include billet pedals and a trailer hitch.

    @Jamesboy2233

    Remember my one female coworker with the shitty '96 Ford Ranger? You know, the one with no A/C, broken heat, worn out brakes, and a tape deck?

    Well, she sold it and bought a used 2014 Volkswagen Jetta! The Jetta is obviously no truck and even by 4-door sedan standards is rather bland and unremarkable. However, it's only got 40K miles, it's in good shape, and most importantly it's got air-conditioning!

    :rofl:

    But seriously, does anybody know a good solution in terms of aftermarket billet pedals?

    Yeah man, back then they cut it off of every one. It’s supposed to make things less sensitive and make it easier to clean. Or course some women prefer turtle necks, but others like the less wrinkly look. But in the end, there really isn’t a difference except when you’re a grower and not a shower.
