Just got my Snugtop Rebel shell with the Yakima rack for my truck. I like the look of the Yakima windshield/diverter for the rack but I didnt want to buy it if it's not worth it. Does anybody have any experience with that?

Sometimes the crossbars whistle, sometimes they don't. If so, a fairing can disrupt the airflow/ whistling. Won't know till you drive...

Have you driven the with the rack on?
I have the Yakima rack without the fairing on my other truck and its so far back that I don't notice any wind.

Just installed Yakima round bars on my friends BMW 3 series, without the deflector there was a lot of low frequency howling as opposed to whistle. It was pretty quiet after the fairing install.
