2018 TSS SR5 Grille on a 2018 Trd off road?

• Will the 2018 SR5 grille fit and have a mounting location for the 2018 TRD offroad TSS system?
• Also, what is the PT number for an SR5 grille for a 2018 Taco?

I just got in my faux trd pro grille from Cali raised and I'm miffed that the TSS garnish won't fit without cutting it (which would void the warranty on an already overpriced grille). They wrote a misleading description that says the grille will fit the garnish with no mention of modification. I also found out I could get a true 2018 trd pro grille without a vin for $258 so what's the point of the Cali Raised grille? I shipped the grille back within 15 minutes of opening it.

I think I want to do something different than the trd pro grille anyway. I think it looks too bulky on my truck without the chrome surround breaking up the shape a bit.

Any people with an SR5 grille on an inferno trd off road? I found a pic of an inferno with an SR and it looked great too.

I was kinda wondering the same thing for my sport. The SR5 does have TSS DRCC & has a mount for sensor. This guy just posted his big Texas style grill guard & reports that with that in front the sensor still works!!! Check it out...

Thanks for the tip! I don’t like the limited grille for my truck as much. I see SR grilles available. I wonder if the SR insert will fit into my chrome trim ring.

 

I would say it would fit without issue but I would probably get the chrome trim ring with the grill.

 

Considering TSS is now standard on both models, I don’t anticipate any issues switching between the TRD and SR5 grille.
