I stopped at NTB today and inquire about their "buy 2 get 2 free" Cooper Discoverer RTX boots.

Long store short...one of my Wrangler Silent Armors got a flat on the sidewell and it is not repairable. I probably got 60k to 70k miles on these tires. I actually thought about inquiring about trading in my 2006 Tacoma 4x4 AC Base for a newer 2018 truck but the tires not matching and the slight bump in the front that has some damage probably will cause Toyota not give me much for the truck.

Anyway whether I trade in the truck or not...I need to get new shoes and this is where I came to this Cooper Discoverer RTX at NTB. I am not looking for a dedicated 4 wheel tires but the 267/75/16 I have on now come in the RTX. Are these good tires for DD? Total cost to install is $600.

I checked GoodYear and their Firestone Destination LE2 4 tires installed is $1,114. I asked if they had a cheaper option and they have the Ironman RB SUV and these have no warranty. (never heard of these tires).

I think the Discoverer RTX seem fairly decent. I may try to sell the truck in the fall and am hoping not to put more than $1k in the tires. I need to scope out the cost to fix or replace the bumper/fenders. See pics under the 2nd Gen Tacoma where I put pics.

Anyone have exp with the Discoverer RTX's? I am looking at the 265/75/16 and my truck has no lift but the Wranglers in the same size fits.

I am heading out of town for the weekend early in the am so I will reply back when I get back.
