Free Spirit RRT

Anybody here have the Free Spirit RTT? If so, can you share your thoughts?

Yup, mines the auto version, push a button on the fob or on the phone app and one minute later you can go to bed. These things are not cheap but I found mine on Craigslist for half of retail, and it was new to boot! Also, it came with a foam mattress pad but I still use an air mattress for extra comfort.

 

How do you like it other then the mattress? is your truck long bed or short? Pros, cons, things you would change etc?

 

It is very well made, nothing wrong about the mattress pad that comes with it, I’m just used to a sleep number bed so the air mattress is set to squishy mode. Mine is a long bed and the tent is a 55” model so it comes right to the tailgate. They also make a 49” model but I’m not sure in the automatic, check their website on that one. The only con is I’m old and fat so climbing the ladder will only get harder as I age.
