I'm looking to buy a spiral cable (aka clock spring) for my 2012 Tacoma (trd). Horn is not working, but cruise seems to be okay. Mechanic quoted me $425 for a doorman version (only $100- was for labor). I'm now looking to save a few $ and go through e-bay. Seems to be three levels for part #84306-0E010: (1) $15- range (no thanks); (2) $55- range calling themselves OEM and (3)$104- range, also calling themselves OEM. Any thoughts? Mechanic said he is willing to install for me. P.S. I'm a novice when it comes to this stuff!

I believe the recall was from '05~'09's only. Looks like they didn't quite fix the issue. Thx though.
