OBDII location

Could someone please post a picture of the location of the OBDII port on a 2002 Tacoma SR5 4WD Automatic.

I have been under the dash several times and looked at every angle possible and I cannot find it.

I need a picture.......Thanks

 

Drivers side under the dash below the hand brake. I have a brake controller in the way so it is hard to get a picture but if you run your hand down the joint where two pieces of plasitic meet under the hand brake it will lead you right to it.

I used an Actron hand held autoscanner to check and clear various error codes I've gotten over the years, it won't connect to the underhood port. I swear to you there is a OBD II port on the drivers side under the dash, at least in my 2001.

 

Thanks guys....I have a brake controller in the exact same spot. Upon closer inspection the little bugger is hidden by the brake controller.

Problem solved.

Is the 2001 Toyota Tacoma ODB II compliant? Or is it only ODB I? I have an

$28 ANCEL AD310 Classic Enhanced Universal OBD II Scanner Car Engine Fault Code Reader CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool, Read and Clear Error Codes for 1996 or Newer OBD2 Protocol Vehicle (Black)

ANCEL AD310 and it doesn't seem to want to link even though the connector is firmly secured. HELP!

All vehicles sold from 1996 on are required to have OBDII. You should run to an autozone or something and see if their scanner has issues so you know if it's the scanner or the truck at fault.

 

I have the same issue with an Ancel reader. My Taco is 2002. No link. I'll try the autozone approach.
